Closes #687.

mai (MAI, Member, Appraisal Institute) came from the unreviewed 2019 bulk post-nominal import and swallowed the name Mai in trailing position. By the relative-frequency criterion in decisions.md#suffix-acronym-collisions the name reading dominates, so the entry is removed (the rai/cha outcome), not marked ambiguous.

Effect

  • Tran Thi Mai (FAMILY_FIRST_GIVEN_LAST): suffix Mai → given Mai, middle Thi, family Tran
  • Nguyen Mai: suffix Mai → family Mai (1.4.0's reading)
  • Accepted cost: John Smith MAI → family MAI. Smith, John, MAI and John Smith M.A.I. still read suffix.

Changes: suffixes.py; three case rows; decisions.md bullet; release-log bullet; snapshot re-recorded (1 name moves); conventions agreement record gains 2 progress entries.

Verified: full suite 20,338 passed, ruff, mypy, and docs doctests clean. 1.4.0 wheel checked for the parity claims. JA locale agreement rows were not re-measured (namedivider not installed).

MAI (Member, Appraisal Institute) is a specialized US credential; Mai is
a common Vietnamese given and family name, a Chinese surname and a
Japanese given name. The entry came from the 2019-12-11 bulk post-nominal
import and was never reviewed. By the relative-frequency criterion of
decisions.md#suffix-acronym-collisions the name reading dominates, so the
entry is removed, as rai and cha were.

"Tran Thi Mai" under FAMILY_FIRST_GIVEN_LAST now reads given Mai, middle
Thi, family Tran (was suffix Mai); "Nguyen Mai" reads family Mai. The
accepted cost: "John Smith MAI" reads family MAI. "Smith, John, MAI" and
"John Smith M.A.I." still read suffix.

One snapshot name moves (Tran Thi Mai, FAMILY_FIRST); the conventions
agreement record gains two progress entries.
